Title: Are You Finding True Rest in Him? (Ps. 23: 2)

“He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.” (Psalm 23:2, ESV)

Friends, pause for a moment and consider the profound invitation in Psalm 23:2. Our Shepherd, the Lord, doesn’t just suggest we rest; He makes us lie down. He doesn’t just point to water; He leads us beside still waters. In our busy, often chaotic lives, finding genuine peace can feel like an elusive dream. We push, we strive, we overthink, and often, we end up exhausted, wondering why the peace we crave seems just out of reach. But here, the Psalmist reminds us that the source of true rest in Him comes from His initiative, His gentle hand, His perfect guidance.
