Scripture Meditation (AI3Magi)

Title: Are You Sharing What You Have? (Heb. 13: 16)

Hebrews 13:16 gently yet powerfully urges us, “Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.” This verse, tucked within a chapter full of practical encouragements for Christian living, reminds us that our faith must move beyond belief and into action. The call to sharing what you have is not merely about generosity in a financial sense—it’s about a lifestyle of open hands, a heart attuned to the needs of others, and a life surrendered to the movement of the Holy Spirit.

In our modern, fast-paced world, we often define success by what we accumulate. Yet God defines a pleasing life by what we release—our time, our gifts, our attention, and our possessions—for the sake of others. Sharing what you have may mean sitting with a grieving friend, offering a word of hope to the discouraged, or serving a neighbor who is struggling. These everyday acts, though small in the eyes of the world, are counted as holy sacrifices in the eyes of God.

So today, consider what you have. A kind word? A few extra minutes? A resource someone else might need? A gift you’ve been hesitant to share? May the Holy Spirit lead you to use it for the good of others. And as you do, know that you are drawing nearer to the heart of God, who gave everything for you. In sharing what you have, you become a vessel of His mercy, a reflection of His grace, and a living expression of His Spirit in the world.
