Title: Are You Chasing the Wind? (Ecclesiastes 1:2)

“Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher, vanity of vanities! All is vanity.” (Ecclesiastes 1:2, ESV)

Life often feels like a breath—fleeting, elusive, hard to grasp. We chase dreams, achievements, even good things, only to find ourselves empty, wondering if any of it truly satisfies. This ancient cry of the Preacher still echoes today. Are you chasing the wind?

But this question doesn’t leave us in despair—it draws us closer to the heart of God. In a world full of distractions, faith in God anchors our souls. When we let go of the illusion that we must secure meaning on our own, we begin to live freely under His grace. The things we pursue for identity, purpose, or security fade when we behold the One who gives life more abundantly.

Approaching God boldly in prayer, we find not judgment but mercy. In His presence, we receive timely help—grace that strengthens us when we feel worn down, and peace that surpasses our restless striving. Instead of chasing the wind, we are invited to be still and know that He is God.

Each day, the Holy Spirit offers to guide us—not toward vanity, but toward eternal fruit. He empowers us to walk with purpose, not in circles. He reshapes our desires and fills us with joy that doesn’t vanish with the morning mist.

So today, pause. Reflect. Are you chasing the wind, or are you walking in step with the One who breathed life into you? Let this be the day you lean deeper into grace, let go of empty pursuits, and find your rest in Him. Amen! 🙏
